Camp Celiac is administered by:


Campers ages 16-17 entering 11th grade or higher must register as a junior counselor. Campers who are 16 and entering 10th grade or lower may choose to register either as a junior counselor or a camper.

Starting this year, and in accordance with other TTFF camps, junior counselors must have a one-year gap between attending as a camper and serving as a junior counselor. That means if your child attended as a camper in 2016, they are not eligible to serve as a junior counselor until summer, 2018. In the past, we have given priority to 12th grade junior counselors, and the result of this new policy will likely be similar.

There is only ONE session for Junior Counselors, JUL 16 through JUL 22. Upon arriving at camp, junior counselors will be assigned a camper group with whom the counselor will spend most of his or her time and junior counselors will sleep in the cabins with younger campers.

Junior counselors arrive at Camp noon of JUL 16 for orientation/training along with the adult volunteer counselors.

The bylaws of the Taylor Family Foundation require us to give priority to junior counselors from Northern California. Due to high demand, we can only accept junior counselors with celiac disease.

On-line registration for junior counselors opens on FEB 1. After you complete the registration steps outlined below we will notify you by email as to whether we have a space for you or whether you have been placed on a waitlist. Registration is not complete, and a space at Camp is not guaranteed, until you have received an email confirming registration and space availability. For junior counselors registering by FEB 14, we will inform you of your registration status by MAR 5.

The registration charge is a non-refundable $25 for both enrolled and wait list spots. While we charge only $25 for Camp, we rely on donations to pay for much of our camp programming including archery, arts and crafts, medical supplies, a dance with a DJ, sports equipment, board games, inflatable obstacle course, etc. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to support Camp Celiac at Camp Arroyo.
